How was that place? We have been wanting to head down to that KOA. I have never been to a KOA site. And have heard some really weird stories about them

We've been at Sweetwater Summit county park for a few days. If you don't mind a half hour drive to hit the beach, it's saved us $50-60 per night from the oceanfront parks... and we're not on top of our neighbor. Great trails and pretty sunsets.

We stayed at at Chula Vista RV Resort in 2015 and again in 2016. Beautiful, on the bay, also a marina and they have a great Resturant with live entertainment. At least they did then. Close to Imperial Beach as well. All paved resort style place. And expensive.

This one was very nice, spotless despite undergoing major construction while we were there, spring 2018.

Mission Bay RV Resort (I think Campland owns them now). They have about 20 back-in sites on the west side of the property that back up to the bay. If you don't get one of those, some of the sites on the east side row have views of the bay - depends on which tree you're backed up to. This park is surrounded by an old mobile home park that no longer exists. You CAN still walk around the mobile home site to the south of the RV park AND all of Mission Bay Park. It's mostly a parking lot with trees and a strip of grass across the back of all the sites.

We stayed at Chula Vista RV Resort. Great park, but they're closing. They are opening a new park just up the street but it will be a bit more.

We were there last weekend. It was very nice and clean and the pool was heated. The weather is warming up which will make it nicer. Our 351M was tight getting in to the spot, but once in, there was plenty of space. You should have no issue getting your 310 in any of the spots.
