    Slides and leveling question

I have a solitude 35 foot 5th wheel? If you're traveling want to stop for something to eat and you want to run your slides out do you have to put down all jacks?

    Thanks for the help,

I've got a Momentum 394M which is right at 44' long and I have put the slides out while being hooked up to the truck.........but.....only when I'm parked at level or very, very close to level. Most camping trailers need to be level in order for the slides to work smoothly, so keep that in mind. Whether the levelers are down or not, really doesn't make much difference, as long as the trailer is level.

I'm curious if I must close all slides before releveling in place and then reopen the slides.

It probably depends on the amount of "re-leveling". I've re-leveled a lot without taking the slides in but mostly when on already pretty much already level sites.

It is generally not a good idea to operate the slides with the trailer out of level. A little bump to correct for settling should not be a problem the slides out. Safe Travels.
