    2800bh Underbelly light strip 16feet

Just did this mod. It lights up the underside of the trailer from one door to the other on the 2018 imagine. In case you don't want to use the awning lights you have another option. If anyone is interested i can post links to what i bought from amazon and how i did it.Click image for larger version.

Good idea to prevent tripping on sites with uneven areas...without lighting up the whole area.

I'd like more details! Where did you tap into for power? Where did you put the switch? What did you mount the light strip to?

    Thanks!

These lights are meant to be a replacement for your awning light. I repurposed it under the trailer and taped to the frame and wired it to the plug in the storage compartment. The lights came with a mounting channel which has 3m sticky tape so you clean the metal frame first and then put those channels on and the led strips in thereafter. I ran the wire under and drilled a small hole in the storage area behind the fake wall and fished them up to the plug. Probably took about 1.5 hours from start to finish. https://imgur.com/a/2kxOcQe

Great mod so I am asking that following questions for clarity only. When doing this mod, did you consider a dimmer switch to be able to adjust the brightness?

If so, was there a factor which made a non-dimmer the preferred choice.

I did not consider a dimmer switch, because with LED's I've experienced a flicker in the lights when you try to dim them ( this is when I had dimmers on LED's I have in the house) so I didn't want to deal with that. Also, I didn't want to tie in with the existing awing light as I wanted the option to turn on whichever I wanted.
