I did something different. My thinking was that the repeater is useful for pulling any trailer and it's main function is to boost signals to the truck receiver, so I mounted it on my truck.
I have a newer F450 and there is a very convenient power supply going to the trailer (to charge the battery) which is switched on and off depending on if the truck detects if there's a trailer connected. I don't have to remember to turn the repeater on (or off - which is good at my age) and I don't have more wiring/components in the trailer's battery compartment - which is kind of a rat's nest already.
Anyway I used that truck +12v supply and mounted the repeater on the backside of the receiver hitch with the antenna pointing down.
There the repeater antenna has a line of sight, unobstructed signal path to all of the truck & trailer sensors (including the spares). If I pull another trailer, I can either just swap the sensors, or pair up the existing sensors with the display.
It works like a champ. Plus the "antenna" symbol on the monitor also lets me know that there's power going to the trailer battery.

Thanks for the details! I like that idea and the check on the truck to trailer power is a definite bonus, but ... our Lippert TireLinc repeater is supposed to be mounted inside, so that is not an option for us.

I did a little more looking today. Feel a little silly that the answer is so easy. There is a marker lamp out in the open reasonably close to the pass through storage on the sewer side.
I question how much power a repeater would need, but the one that comes with the Lippert TireLinc 2.0 calls for a 15 amp fuse!Kent

TMPS booster wiring.
Got the repeater installed powered from the marker light circuit. Thanks to ckreef for the idea. Now I don't have to remember to turn it on/off.
As you can see in my previous post, the wires running to the marker light are green and white. Turns out they are conveniently routed through the front compartment (see pic).
Here's the TPMS repeater installed:
I have not had it out on the road yet, but was able to pair up to the app and read the tire pressures and temperatures.Last edited by AllRs307; 03-13-2021 at 08:14 PM.
