While Underway: Murphy Bed, Should it be Up or Down?
OK, after having this thing for almost a year, it occurred to me that there is no guidance in the manual on this subject. And honestly, one of the first things I did when we got it (one year used) was tighten the screws and reinforce the latch for the murphy bed...
So.... you folks that have them, do you travel with the Murphy folded up or down flat??????Doug, Patti and our puppy Leo are from upstate NY.

We have always traveled with it in the up position.

On our previous trailer a Rockwood Mini Lite with a Murphy bed I traveled with it both up and down and didn’t feel any difference while towing. Having it up though made it easier to get in/out of the entrance.
