New 14" tires for an Imagine 22MLE

I'm buying a new Imagine 22MLE soon and wondering if the Westlakes are adequate or if I should get a better tire. If so, what tire do you recommend. I put on Sailun on my 384GK, which came with the Westlakes. I'll be taking pretty long trips....from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Surprise, Arizona annually and this summer a trip across the US and don't want any interruptions with tire issues.
    Thanks for your input.

    First, welcome to the "cult"!
The 22MLE is a nice two person trailer. I'm sure there are many who will tell you to change the tires out before you sign the papers.
That stated, I run the Goodyear Endurance size on my boat trailer with good success so I can speak for them. When the time comes to replace the Westlakes, I'll go with those. Again, when I need new tires.

Recommemd Goodyear Endurance Tires. I've changed more than my share of RV tires next to the road. It's something to be avoided if possible. Look into a (TPMS) tire pressure monitoring system as well. A must have!

Thanks. I'll go with the Goodyear's and also the TST brand of a TPMS. Do you recommend a built in TPMS or the other?

The type of TPMS is really just a personal call; from expensive to inexpensive there are many that work great! Just important to get one setup and in use; not only to let you know if you've lost a trailer tire in which you cannot see from the mirror but to monitor changes in PSI over the passing of time and in different environments on long travel trips.

This inexpensive system has worked as well as the more expensive ones that I've run in the past.

Our 2017 Imagine had one nail in a Westlake, the other 3 are original. Just on age I'll replace them this spring.

Our Westlake's had about 4000 miles on them when i changed them out for the Goodyear Endurance. Still had plenty of life left in them it appeared but with all the horror stories i didn't want to take the chance. I went with the 215/75/14's. Couple of things i noticed on the first trip after changing them was the trailer didn't seem to bounce as much and it tracked better. Also, i just bought the Tire Minder I10 TPMS, haven't had a chance to use it yet but a pretty easy setup.

Thanks. I used the tire minder on my 384gk fifth wheel tires and it worked well...just took some time to sync because of the longer distance to my cab.
