Paint Burned Around Brand New Furrion Stove Burner Spill Plate

The very first time we cooked on our Brand New Furrion Stove Top, the paint burned and cracked on the black spill plate just below the burner on the back side. This happened only on single front burner.
It appears that the burner is installed slightly uneven in the cook top and when the burner is lite, the flames are touching the back side of the round cutout. See attached pics.
Has anyone else had this happen? If so can you share how it was resolved? The Stove Top is in warranty as we just got the trailer, but that means I have to go back to the selling dealer, which is a PITA!

Wouldn’t have to go to the dealer for that. Just call GD and talk to them
If they warranty it they can ship the part out as it is an easy swap
