    Upgrading Tires

Picking up a used 2014 Solitude 368RD on Friday, and was wondering if the stock rims will support "G rated" tires, or will I need to replace both tires and rims?

That question has been asked before and yes, they're rated for 110 psi. Goodyear G614 tires were available as a factory option partway through the 2014 model year.

Thanks for the quick response. That will make it much easier to upgrade the tires when I get home from Florida. I searched the forum and did not see this, so thanks again.

It took a little reading but I found the reference for GD Customer Service...

Yes. The OEM wheels can accommodate load range G tires and the associated air pressure requirements.

I may not have gone far enough back into the archives. Or simply overlooked it in my old age. Thanks again.

Just make sure, if you do the upgrade, that you have metal stems installed.

I put G614's on my 369RL and it was a great decision. Running at 100-110 seems to make it more "bouncy", so you may have to take a little more care in taping cabinets shut with painters tape, etc.
