    Furrion Thermostat

I’ve got a 2021 Imagine 2600RB. Due to vendor challenges due to Covid, the Furrion thermostat used in my trailer isn’t the thermostat that has previously been used. The temperature sensor for the new thermostat is in the Furrion A/C unit (for the thermostat). Since the A/C requires shore power or AC input generator to operate, if I am boondocking or otherwise don’t have shore power the thermostat is useless for controlling my furnace. My furnace will operate, but has to be manually turned on and off at the thermostat control on wall. This really sucks. During the night in cold temperatures I have to keep getting up to regulate the temperature by manually turning the furnace on/off. This just doesn’t seem right, but I’ve call Furrion and they tell me that is how it is designed.

    Furrion Thermostat

There is another thread about this. Maybe a mod can tag or direct you to it
    I don’t know how
I think it was 2800bh heat doesn’t work without fan. Search for that and you will find it

There is a sensor wire that people have been sticking out through the filter on the a/c
You will see it if you remove the cover

This has been fixing the issue I believe

The "fix" for this madness is in this thread, post 39.

Sorry to restart this old thread, but we're looking at a 2020 Reflection 150 290bh. Since this model would have been made before all the covid issues, will it have the type of thermostat that will work correctly without shore power? Is there a way to tell which type of thermostat the camper has?
    Thanks!

Does it have a Furrion air conditioner?

The newer thermostat will have a little bump on the bottom of it. That is the temp sensor for the heat
If it is smooth no bump it is the old type

We looked at the camper in person today, but I didn't see your message until afterwards. I did take a photo of this thermostat in the living room near the stairs, and this is the air conditioner in the living room. Camper was manufactured in Jan 2020, so before Covid issues. Since we plan to do some boondocking, I hope our furnace will work without shore power!

That isn’t a Furrion system so it will perform as it should
Just keep in mind that a furnace is a huge draw on a battery so you will need a big system if heat is needed
