2500RL- has anyone increase tire size from 205/75/15 to 225/75/15?

Want to replace the Westlakes with Goodyear Endurance
205 came with it rated D load 65 mph
    225 is rated E load 87 mph

    225 is .6 “ higher and .75 in wider.

    My concern is rub.

I have contemplated the same move - I have a 2020 2500RL. I just measured my clearance with the original westlakes and it seems to be about 3.75". I installed the CRE3000 last year and I don't remember how much that affected the clearance (seem to remember overall height of maybe .75" or so. The Morryde qualification guide says they want 3" clearance between the tire and the top of the wheel well, so in my case it seems to be cutting it close but should work. (assuming I get .3" higher, that still would give me 3.4 " clearance). I don't think there will be any problem with the extra width - from what I have seen.
BTW I have about 6k miles on the Westlakes now and they have held up fine, I'm thinking to swap them out before we take a longer trip in the fall just as a precaution. I keep them properly inflated, use a TPMS and I try to be careful with the sidewalls.

I don’t have but 3-400 hundred but I look at GY Endurance over the weekend and was impressed by the sidewalls.
I look at it as preventive medicine,
Just deciding whether to get the 205 or the 225

I did that exact change on our '19 2500RL. Worked fine. I now have 2500lb springs on (instead of the stock 1750lb) and the CRE3000 but I ran probably 3000 miles on the stock springs and equalizer with the bigger tires and no rubbing.
