Towing trailer behind Solitude

Does anyone know the hitch weight and towing ability of the 2” hitch on the rear of a 2020 Solitude? I want to mount my generator plus tow a 10’ trailer with side-by-side.

Most of the hitch specs I've seen are 300 lb tongue/cargo weight, 3000 lbs towing.

If you plan on fabricating a platform for the generator that has a receiver on it to tow the trailer, be aware that the extension greatly increases the forces on the receiver (leverage) on the trailer and all of the numbers above go out the window.

The hitch on my 2019 310GK is rated at 350 tongue weigh and 3500 lbs total. I tow a second trailer about 90% of the time.

@cmlintx you may also wish to consider overall length of your outfit in addition weight. I wanted to tow my aluminum boat behind my solitude too but truck, 5th wheel and boat I'm 74+ feet. Not sure if I would get stopped but I'm not itching to find out.

Lots of variation on triple towing from state to state. Illegal in some states. I think TX allows it. Do a little research before you spend big buckos to get it set up. Here is one example; https://rv-roadtrips.thefuntimesguid...triple_towing/
