    2020 303RLS free Standing Dinette

I have a 2020 303RLS with the free Standing Dinette. I drove the RV home from the dealer (about 50 miles) when I got home I noticed that the chairs were not strapped down.
There was no problem and nothing damaged. I was wondering if anybody straps their chairs down for travel and if so how. I am about to go on my first short trip.
    Thanks

Straps should be in one of the seat storage compartments for those chairs. You should see the attachment rings on the floor. Chairs are basically strapped as pairs - flip on over on the other such that seats meet. Strap then goes over the seat sandwich.

As noted, there should be straps that attach to a ring in the floor. We don't do the reversed chair thing on our chairs. Just run the strap from ring over the seats of both chairs (in position). I don't think there's room to turn a chair upside down on another one to tie it down that way.

We have a 2016 303rls and have never tied ours down. We have traveled some rough highways but the chairs have always stayed in place. We have had a drawer or a cabinet in the bathroom or bedroom open but, that is it.

There's really no place they can go with the slid-out closed, but I don't want them to scuff up the table or the slide-out wall. I put one on top of the other and turned them sideways to fit and strapped them down. I don't think they can hit anything now.

DItto this...we used to, but its a pain. In 3 years of no strapping and 40,000 miles, never an issue. Like someone else said, there really isn't anyplace for them to move, when the slde is closed.

Ditto on the ditto. Three years with the 307MKS and no issues with not strapping the chairs.

The morning after we brought our trailer home I spun the table base 1/4 turn (it is now a + instead of a x) and removed the D rings from the floor. 90% of the time, we travel with only 2 chairs. I have found my recliners hanging off the slide floor on more than one occasion but the dining chairs have never moved significantly.

I never understood why the leg of the table was an "X". It made the set up very awkward underneath for seating.
I wanted to rotate the table to a "+" but, wasn't sure if able to do so. Did you have an issues in doing so?

I won't go into the cheap hinges on the cushioned chairs for storage. They are something you'd find on a child's doll house. AUGH!
