Adding a Second Battery to 230RL Fifth Wheel

Here's a pic of my current battery box.



I'm interested in how others have installed second batteries. Did you install a second box? If so, where did you get it and where did you locate it? Did you run a dedicated vent from the box? Pictures would be great!

I plan to install an inverter as well.

Do not punch another hole in that floor, in fact, cover up the existing hole with plywood or sheet metal and begin anew for structural reasons.

Thanks Grandesigner. Is that your inverter in the picture? How did you run the wiring from the invert to those items you want to power with it? Did you remove the underbelly or find some other means of routing wire?

Nope, that's a solar setup using the wire pair drop down from the roof.
