2800BH Glass Door under the TV

We keep DVDs and games in there and it is a rough ride during transit, we have the little plastic latch as shown by other, it even blew through that! Solution was to use a thin piece of hardboard 7.5” tall that slides in the door opening and nothing is getting past that.

Cardboard would probably work just as well.

Created a stop using an old bicycle shiftier cable, an electrical ground lug, and purchased an extra glass door hinge kit to attach it to. Pulled out stereo, drilled a small hole, used a spring to pull the cable back in when the door closes, but some weight or a rubber band would work too.

Good Morning all,
I wanted to put this out there as a fix for the little latch that keeps braking for the glass door in from of the entertainment shelf. My wife found an oven door safety latch for children works Wonderfull. I have put a link from amazon and some pics. I was a little skeptical at first but it really works good.
