What does your 2018 GMC sticker say?

My 2018 Nissan door sticker says "should not exceed" but the owner's manual says "do not exceed".

I added a sentence above. There was also some discussion about the verbiage, should not vs will not vs do not etc.

I don’t know of a vehicles payload sticker saying anything other than should. Everyone of them do

So you didn’t post it as a joke?

You post a weight comparison of a 1500 reg cab short box to a 2500 crew cab diesel????
Okay you win. The diesel is wayyyyy better

The weight difference between my 1500 crew to a 2500 crew is around 800-900 lbs

Remember, max hitch weight is most important. Then max towing capacity comes next.

The owners manual the the tow guides state...... Why are you so suck on that label when the vehicle’s Safety Compliance Certification Label on the same door post states GVWR and GAWR.

"The addition of trailer kingpin load weight, and the weight of passengers and cargo, must not cause vehicle weights to exceed the rear GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) or GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). These ratingon s can be found on the vehicle’s Safety Compliance Certification LabeL”

A little off topic but I have a question. I had gone to a Cat scale and weighed my truck with my 5th wheel hitch in the bed of the truck, a full tank of diesel, a few odds and ends in the truck, a tonneau cover and my wife was with me. Pretty much how the truck would be if we were hooked up ready to go. The scale read Steer Axel 5000, Drive Axel 3640 Total Axel 8640. I have a GCVWR of 11,350. My rear axel is rated for 6600 and my tires are rated for 3750 each. With all that in mind, to stay within legal limits can I have a pin weight of 2710 (11350-8640) or a pin weight of 2960 (6600-3640)?
