New member with a question
Hello all. We have 2020 337RLS and couldn’t be happier with this fifth wheel except... batteries don’t charge on 30amp shore power. Have pig tail purchased from Dealer for 50 to 30. Where’s a good place to post this question on this site?
Happy to be on the Grand design owner Team

Welcome to the forum. Do the batteries charge on 50A shore power? If yes, there is probably an issue with your adapter.
Is the battery disconnect switch in the correct position? (Easy way to tell is if you disconnect from shore power and still have 12v power or if connected to shore power and turn off converter breaker and still have 12v power)

Thanks for the quick reply FT. Yes no issues with 50 Amp charge. Trailer cord has blue light illuminated when plugged into adapter - only one leg but that is what you get with 30 amp. Talked to GD customer service but they didn’t have any idea on what issue is other than the the battery switch question is it in the on position.

If there is no issue charging with 50A service, it sounds like the 30A to 50A adapter is not powering both legs of the 50A service (which it should), and your charger is on the unpowered leg. You need an new 30-50 adapter. Note: A 30A adapter should power both legs of a 50A cord, but you will be limited to a total of 30A.

Mark,
I have moved your thread to "Electrical System and Wiring." The folks who have responded are giving you good ideas to follow up on.
