    Low propane draw starboard cylinder

2016 GD Solitude. I just replaced the automatic regulator with another automatic regulator and still no good. There’s a red 30psi “in line regulator?” on the starboard side. Could this be bad? My lp lines appear to be good from what I can tell. Help!

It could be. Regulators age. Have you tried switching tanks from side to side to make sure it's not the safety valve in the tank itself? I assume you know to open the valves slowly when you replace a tank...

Did you activate the safety valve in the tank?

Close the valve and reopen slowly

I’m pretty sure that I’ve tried both tanks on the starboard side but I’ll try again. Yes, I did learn a couple of months ago to open the cylinders slowly.

Did you get the problem solved? Valves can and do go bad.

I had a new tank that came on the RV that would not accept a refill the first time I tried to have it filled.

I did! Yes! Thank you! It was the red in line propane regulator on the starboard side! Now I can draw from my starboard side again!

Glad you got it fixed. I love the design and layout of the Solitude bu we are very disappointed with the quality of the components.

Grand Design has proven difficult to use to get problems corrected. I think it is a sign of the times.
