    Towing behind a fifth wheel

    Just bought a new 310 - Has anyone after market upgraded the 2" hitch (behind the fifth wheel) for additional towing - I have a 12' trailer that i want to haul a Kawasaki Mule - on the CAT scales it weighs about 3500#. The hitch behind the 5th is rated for 3000# -

    Thinking i could weld some extra supports under the frame - Anyone messed with this??

    Congrats on your new 310.
    I would be concerned that it would void any warranty you have on the unit if it is "messed" with.
    Proceed with caution.
