    2021 model mattess any better?

We have a 2019 Momentum which came with the same disposable mattress that most everyone gets. At the Tampa RV show I looked at the new 2021 Momentums and the mattresses looked like a pretty decent quality but were still really lightweight. They looked kind of like a cross between a spring mattress and memory foam. If anyone has the new mattress and has a good review, I would look into ordering one. I haven't just put a regular king in because the 349M requires a pretty decent chunk on one corner of the mattress to be trimmed.

    Thanks,
    Russ

I haven't touched the mattresses in the 2021s, but the mattress than came in our 2020 (built January, 2020) was terrible (in our opinion). We immediately replaced it with our Tuft and Needle mattress. If you need to replace the RV king, these folks have a very good reputation among full-timers:

Our 2021 2600 RB came with a piece of slate on the bed frame.
At least that's what it felt like. The good news is I sold it for $50 in one day.
8 inch memory foam on there now and it's comfy.

I've read a couple of post so far with people stating that their 2021 came with an 8in mattress that was comfy compared to older years. Maybe GD did change their mattress or maybe the original mattress are out of stock and they had to supply a different one.

Our 2021 Solitude stock mattress with a MyPillow topper added was decent to sleep on. Just replaced it with a Wilderness Montana hybrid. Pretty nice. https://wildernessrvmattress.com/pro...tana-pillowtop

I'm one of those that just got a 2021 with a good mattress, 8" memory foam. My wife is VERY picky about what we sleep on, and she says it is comfortable.

2021 385gk here. My wife surprised me and said she likes the stock memory foam mattress. I like it ok, but I think I want to try a topper just to make sure.

One of the main reasons we sold our Jayco X213 and decided to buy a bigger trailer was so we would have enough room to get as big a mattress as we wanted. I plan to start with 10 inches, and dammit I'll just keep adding more foam until it gets comfy. Ha! It sounds like this trailer I'm getting has a standard 60x80 queen. That's good news, I won't have to cut the new mattress to fit

    Thanks everyone,
A little more research is on the schedule. I'll look into the two links above. I'm waiting for a reply from Grand Design as well. And sorry about posting this twice. It was still on the screen and I thought I hadn't hit the post it button.

I purchased this mattress recently from Denver Mattress, and it is excellent. RV Supreme Euro Top Mattress. Had the low end model in the Solitude that was not comfortable. The highest end model was too firm for me. It comes rolled up in a box, they ship. https://denvermattress.furniturerow....e-11db72ab9ba5
