When you get to the right person and/or make a well-placed relationship... Could be she's new too. The Customer Service office space was doubled late last year and it was clear when I was there they needed more able bodies with the skyrocketed unit ownership.
RV surplus shops in Northern Indiana and the next State up sell the last of the spools really cheap too. I bought just about 200 square feet for $16.
You could get dizzy imbibing all the ways we 5er owners mod the basements and bulkheads! Lol! Heck, I'm seriously considering putting in a PEX manifold when I clear out the rest of the vinyl tube!
My tip to you, if you camp in freezing weather, install a switched house current bulb socket with 100W incandescent bulb behind the bulkhead on the wet side. Then when cold weather camping with full hookups, just turn the light on and use your electric fireplace/space heater as you won't need to run the furnace or have a trickling faucet to prevent freezing! The bulb will be enough.Rob & Nikki + Cloverfield

I took advantage of the beautiful weather this weekend in Colorado and tackled my basement wall project. It originally consisted of 3 large panels. One on the door side, one on the street side, and an angled one between.
My goal was to gain accessibility through more removable panels and quick access to the water fittings that will eventually leak. The result was shortening the street and door side panels, and building in-between. I stole some ideas from openrangeowners and took Boyscout's advice on the Surge Guard monitor placement.
Removable panels utilize a 1/4-20 thumbscrew and some threaded machine screw inserts in plywood strips.
Hinged access to water areas.

Happy to help. I was obsessed with getting this project done before I started to organize all of our stuff. I am really happy with the thumb screws for the panel removal, no tools needed.
The biggest problem I ran into was that the floor in the basement is not very flat and made it tough to reference dimensions from.Brian and Lisa - Longmont, CO

I've gotta ask, How do you get the batteries in and out of that space! Also, I notice your user name is "Openrangeowners". I am guessing your last RV was an Open Range? I just sold my 2015 Open Range LT319RLS fifth wheel and we down sized to a 2021 Imagine 2250RK. I can honestly say that I have very little complaints about it. It served us well and never let us down...just wanted something smaller so we could go more places.

The batteries slide out one-by-one through the front area between the wood where the schematic is. There is just enough height to lift them over the lip once the connections are removed.
The first photo shows how I added a 4th battery compared to the upside down photo.
Yes - I owned a 2010 399 BHS Open Range prior - I was the one that started the Open Range Owners forum .... that was my name on that forum.Last edited by openrangeowners; 03-12-2021 at 04:52 AM.

The walls in the basement that you put fabric on, is that 1/2 OSB?
