    Solitude vs Solitude-S

What's the main difference between Solitude and Solitude-S?

Floor plans are a bit different. Solitude includes certain 'more expensive' items like hydraulic slides/leveling versus electric slide/leveling on S-Class. Solitude has a cushioned pin-box.

Better question is to ask what is similar - both are wide-body and have beefy frames and running gear and are high profile 5th wheels with lots of standard features. Suggest you look at the downloadable brochure the GD has that shows each difference.

As Openrangeowners shared, doing a comparison using current brochures and/or the GDRV website is a good exercise. I did this when the S class was introduced and found about 25 or so differences as I recall. Some minor and others more major.

Some other key items like windows, fireplace, stove cook top/oven, microwave, sink(s), interior/exterior designs, full body paint option, and on and on are differences.

If you do the comparison, share the current differences as you note them on the current models.

Dan there is one thing I haven't been able to find out on the 3540. The washer dryer is the 3540 set up for the combo unit or can you put separate machines in one.

Gary - good question - I thought we determined sometime ago that the washer was curb side and the dryer street side in the front closet.

Maybe we can get Steve @huntr70 to chime in.

    Thanks, in advance, Steve !

I'm pretty sure you're right, Dan. Looking at the floorplan and photo of the bedroom, there is no separate closet for the W/D. The closet setup seems to be the same as in the Reflection 337RLS which has the washer on one side and the dryer on the other. The models that are set up for stackable W/D have a separate closet with door... we'll see what Steve says.

Oh - I think that's taking things a bit far! (But, thanks.) We'll see what Steve has to say.

What made me wonder iis when looking at the pictures the left side of the closet has multiple shelves where the right side only has one up top.

The 3540 has the washer prep on the driver's side of the closet and the dryer prep on the curb side.
