    2970RL pantry door

Has anybody had a problem with something in the pantry sliding around and damaging the glass in the door? Wife is concerned it would break the glass. Just picked this up and haven't had it on the road yet.
    Thanks

Our two GD RVs have had lips on the edge of the pantry shelves (and glass doors). Never had an issue - but we used some plastic bins and baskets to help keep things contained. Do your shelves have a lip on the edge facing the pantry door?

As Rob shared, no issue with our shelves having things move and damage the door glass over 7 seasons. The pictures of your 2970 pantry seems to have shelves with a lip just like Rob and we have.

We did, however, place rubber shelf/drawer liner on our pantry shelves and in all our other drawers/cabinets. We have a few plastic bins as well. Without something on these shelves, they are pretty slick and one could see how things could easily move around if not packed in tightly.

Didn’t even notice the lip but thanks. We always put the rubber liners in and use a lot of the Rubbermaid containers but she was concerned about that glass in the door. When it warms up a little more here in Colorado I will go out and check.

We have a 2021 2970RL and have had no problems. There is a lip on the front of the shelf. We also keep most things in a basket. The only thing that is loose is paper towels, paper plates type stuff.

We chose to mount a four tier wire spice rack on the inside of the pantry door. Works fantastic at holding spices as well. BE SURE to measure twice before ordering. Our biggest mounting challenge was aligning the screws to ensure the pantry door would close when mounted. It has been several years but it is similar to this style but we ordered the black wire. https://www.amazon.com/Spice-Mounted...a-759231131475
