    349M Roof Pics

Hi All, new to the forum and was hoping someone might have pics of their 349M rooftop. I have not taken delivery of mine yet and trying to map out where, how many and what size solar panels I may be able to fit up there.

GD was gracious enough to send me the schematic of the rooftop but there are few things that do not look right just based on what i see vent wise from the inside. If anyone has any pics and could share I would greatly appreciate it.

    Cheers.

If nobody responds in a couple of days, I'll get up on mine and take photos & measurements of it all. I'd like to map it out for solar as well, so can you let me know if there's something specifically I should look for?

Thanks jjbbrewer. I am hoping to be able to fit (4) Qcell 435 watt panels that measure ~81"X40". Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I see you bleed orange. I just switch to Beta myself and live in Castle Rock. Maybe we can hook for some scoot sessions this summer? Cheers.

Thank you very much. Those are perfect. Looks like I need to go with the 340 watt Q Cell panel. Larger ones are gonna be tough it appears. Still playing tetris with it though to try and make it work. Thanks again for your help.

You're more than welcome! If you don't have the optional rear bathroom, you probably don't have that vent.

When you get your solar up and going, please post photos of it! I'm still trying to figure out if I want to go that way and, if so, how big of a system I want to get.

Good point as I did not order the rear bathroom, so no vent. Still going to be tight. I'm not sure I am going to be able to get (4) large 435W panels up there. The other issue is that I have the third AC unit in the rear which is going to be a little larger that the fan and thus taking up a little more room. I would need 122" between kitchen vent and garage AC unit in order to get three panels in there and then one in back of the garage AC unit. That is the only way I see it happening. Otherwise I am going to have use smaller panels.

I'll let you know how it all shakes out. Unfortunately I am not being told my rig will be in until mid to late July now. : (
