Tongue jack with higher motor location ??? (Tailgate clearance issue)

My Imagine TT came with Liepert jack with ~ 10.5 inches between top of mounting flange and bottom of motor housing. My F150 tailgate hits the housing just below the paddle switches. Is there another jack that has a motor higher up ? I think if motor/housing was around 2" higher it would allow tailgate to swing under. I cannot rotate the motor housing and I cannot rotate the assembly as the holes don't line up.

If i recall someone else on here had a similar problem. I believe they were able to partially disassemble the head to rotate it and reinstall the head. Im not sure if you went that route when you stated you couldnt rotate the head. He posted some pictures and it seemed fairly easy to do.

Some ball hitch draw bars are slightly longer and may provide the clearance you need. Something to consider if rotate doesn't work.

Of all words to search for, I missed that single one. I had even searched for "Tail Gate". Either way, that was a great post and I will likely find resolution within. I am still curious if others make a taller jack. As for rotating the base, not an option. The jack flange is a triangle and one edge overlaps the edge of trailer frame. If I rotated the base, one of the bolt holes would have no frame underneath to connect to. I will disassemble head and figure it out. Thanx, Tom

I went the longer draw bar route. Still have it as its 18" long as opposed to the 12" that comes stock. I have a 5th wheel now so its for sale. PM me if interested.
