Atlanta Area Campgrounds

We purchased a mini season ticket plan in 2019 to the Braves games (cancelled last year so rolled over to this year) and we’re wondering what were some favorite campgrounds on the northwest side of Atlanta, near the new Truist park? I’m only finding one within about 30 miles unless I am missing something.

Truist park is adjacent to I-75 at I-285 North of Atlanta. Real estate has gotten so expensive I doubt
you will find a nice park close by. I would suggest looking north of Truist park going up I-75 toward Chattanooga.
I am not aware of local parks but I think you should be able to find one within 30 miles North of Truist Park.

That is a good idea.
I checked Allatoona Lake and they have several campgrounds.
I am guessing that Allatoona is within 20 miles of Truist Park.

Stone Mountain Park is one of our favorites, it is on the east side of Atlanta and easy to get to interstate to go to the ballpark.
