First and foremost, prepare yourself a box/toolkit of essentials like spare fuses, water pressure regulators etc. I have been living full time in my RV since Christmas 2019, and have many incidents where I had to do the mad dash to the hardware store to pick up something I missed. A portable light, extra sewage hoses will come in handy. Also, check out youtube, there are a lot of great 1st time RVer videos out there now. With tips and tricks to match. Personally, I found it helpful.

Not sure if its been mentioned already but ensure you have a hex wrench size to fit the lug nuts on the spare tire carrier. Although bolt sizes were the same (1/2 x 20), it had a different hex size than the lug nuts on the axles. We were able to replace the spare tire lug nuts with nuts that had bolt size and same hex size. Just one less thing to keep up with.

Most, if not all, do allow RVers to spend the night on a space available first come/first served basis. Some have free dedicated spaces for RVers while others may charge a modest fee and permit parking in the truck area.
