I was reading an article about this the other day when researching rv refer fires. This article talks about the yellow liquid at the bottom of page 41.

    Hi Patty,

It seems to me that the cooling system of your fridge has a leak. Does this smell like ammonia? If it does then you will likely need a new fridge or cooling unit. Seems like you will need a tech or dealer look at it though.

Do not use the fridge in either mode...it is a fire hazard. Call a tech as others have suggested.

Every one with an absorption fridge should read that, great info. Thanks for posting it.

As for the OP, don't hesitate to have this looked at. If you have a new trailer call the fridge manufacture and report this. It could be a safety issue to others as well.

It would be helpful for others trying to help you if you took a few mins to create a signature line with the year and model of your trailer.
