    Every camper that we had in the past had separate thermostats and you could run heat strip and furnace at the same time if you wanted to.
    Get this for the Furnace.....locate the 2 blue wires coming off of the Suburban furnace. One is +12vdc and the other is the return (call for heat) that supplies the +12vdc back to the furnace to turn it on/off. The thermostat is the switch...

    For the new AC, I think this is what your looking for but would consult with AirXcel directly to confirm:

    EDIT: The "Q" in the model stands for "Quiet" and I believe incorporates the new styrofoam insert for reduced sound and air flow efficiency.

    Please confirm with Coleman/AirXcel that this will work for your application and those components are all compatible. I would hate to steer you in the wrong direction and their posted information isn't always up to date.
