I checked my rear jacks today. They are 5" off the ground when retracted. I did the departure angle test using the string as stated by Lippert, and while everything is above the string, the installation still does not meet the 7" minimum as stated by Lippert.I was also told by the tech that I talked to at Lippert tht they only made one size jack for these configurations. Judging by the photo earlier in this thread, that was not accurate information. The jacks can not be raised/repositioned because they are located directly under the slide and there is only about 3/4" clearance at the top.
I sent an email off to a VP at GD. That was the only email address I could find. I described the issue and requested that it be forwarded to the Reflection Product Manager.
It was after I sent the email, that I saw J Maguier'a photo so I'm going to send another email with that photo attached and we'll see what happens.

Here is the email sent to me by GD. It was in my mailbox at 6AM. How can customer servie get any better than this?

    Good Morning Robert,

Hope you are well. Understand your concern. We do check the departure angle from the bottom of the rear wheel to the lowest point at the rear of the unit on all models. It is very close on the 268BH. Lippert has a shorter jack available (that they don’t sell to production for some reason). We can send a set directly to you or to Crestview. Just let us know where you want them to go. Thank you for your business and welcome to the Grand Design family! Have a great weekend!

    Brad,
Robert’s VIN is at the end of his e-mail below. Let’s get a set of the shorter stroke jacks from LCI and let’s send them out when we hear back from him on where he wants them to go. Thanks!

I have the same concern. I purchased a 2021 150 Series 295RL. I have the 24.5 inch levelers on mine. Although I am just on top of the string line from the hitch (no bumper) to the bottom of the back tire, I am only 4 3/4 inches above the ground. I am wondering, are the 22 inch levelers of similar quality to the 24.5 inch levelers?. An earlier picture in this thread has me wondering.

I can't beleive this. I sent an email to Jerry McCarthy at GD Friday evening, after hours at that asking for assistance with the low stabilizer issue. This morning, three days later and a couple of emails over the weekend, I get an email from Mr. McCarthy saying my stabilizers were on the way. If there is a company out there with any better customer service, I would love to know who they are.

FYI.. I was told that Lippert does make the shorter jack, but for some reason does not sell it to the OEMs for production. Go figure.

Bob I watched some youtube dealership videos selling the 2020 150 series and I noticed that there were 8 open vertical bolt holes in the back landing gear (the same as my 2021). so it looks like they have been selling these same landing gears for over a year. When you receive them please let me know if they are of similar quality and support strength. Thanks

Not sure why you would be concerned with differences in quality...

They both have a 5000lb weight capacity and the shorter ones are color matched at the bottom; more attractive in other words. Not to mention they fit better. Regardless there's nothing to lose, you get to keep the old ones as well.

I thought I had seen a picture of the 2 together on another thread and the shorter one didn`t look as robust. Anyway I will call tomorrow to discuss this. Any pothole or speed bump will damage mine for sure

I'm going to change out my rear leveling jacks this weekend. What size socket/wrench does it take for the mounting bolts? Just don't want to go unprepared.

The sensor for leveling is not in the jack. It should not have any affect on operation.
