Haloview RD7 Range Dominator
Hi All
I recently picked up a Haloview observation cam. Mocked it up in the shop and all works great.
I'm wondering about the best way to mount the extended antenna cable to the front of the trailer. Anybody else mount one of these?
Wondering if there are any benefit to running down one side of the roof? Down the middle? Top of the wall just down from the roof?
Any and all suggestions appreciated.
There is still a foot of snow on my trailer so the install won't be for 4 weeks or so.
TIA

I have looked at the same camera system myself and decided that IF I do buy it, I'm going to run a couple of sticks of 3/4" PVC conduit from the rear of the trailer all the way to the front A/C unit, right along the side of the A/C units....which will basically be down the center of the trailer. The conduit could easily be strapped to all three A/C units, and then anchored every 5 or 6 feet with some Alpha roof sealant. Having the cable inside a PVC conduit would offer additional protection from weather and sun degradation of time, and it would certainly be easier than trying to run it through the "attic" of the trailer. Again, I have not bought one yet, but if I do, that are my thoughts on how I would do it.
