kitchen knife storage

What are people doing for kitchen knife storage? In our previous Roo hybrid there were the slots behind the stove and we kept them there. I don't remember seeing them in my Imagine. Right now we have them in a drawer but that seems a little dangerous. I saw a Camco knife safe and also the magnetic bars. I like the look of the bars better. Thinking one of the bars next the stove on my 2800BH might be the best idea but thought I would see what others are doing.

If you're on facebook join the Grand Design Imagine Owners page. A few people have posted pictures of magnetic knife holders that they have been happy with. That is what we plan to do with our 2800 once we get it.

Search "Grand Design RV Imagine Owners" its a closed group but you should be added quickly. There is also "Grand Design RV Owners" facebook page that I am a member of.

Love my Cutco but that's a little pricey for my camper.

Been working on this set for a while. Have to have good knives wherever I'm cooking.

We have a wooden block knife holder that can be purchased with a complete set of knifes. Places like Macy's have them. My wife got some Museum putty and fastened the block on the kitchen counter near the stove. If you can't find the Museum putty you can use Velcro-tape. We've put several thousand miles on the trailer and they have never moved.
