    New to the RV world

    My wife and I just purchased our first RV, a Transcend 260RB. We are looking forward to getting it out for the first time this weekend. The weather isn't looking favorable but what a way to break us and the trailer in. We've already booked several weekend trips and have a two week trip planned the end of June.

    Welcome to the family! Now you can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question. You can create a signature by going to:

    Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

    I spent many years in the DFW area starting with an assignment to Carswell AFB in the 70s when it was active and ending with a second time at UTA. You have lots of beautiful places to camp in the area. We used to especially enjoy sailing on Lake Texoma. Happy camping!

    Welcome fellow Texan! Very nice looking truck and trailer, I'm partial to white trucks too lol. Very nice area up in North Texas, lots of places to camp. I can remember coming down from Ft Sill Ok as a kid and camping at Possum Kingdom lake just west of you. Enjoy the new toy and stay safe!
