    Charging only is a concern

Unless you are camping somewhere that it stays below 32f or 0c, don't worry. you can still discharge under freezing, but you won't recharge until its above freezing.

If you are really concerned, a battery blanket should do the trick.

    Just one guys opinion. TMMV

ReLion lithium batteries say they can be recharged at temperatures as low as 4 degrees F. It takes a little more time, but their batteries has built in circuitry that produces energy from the battery for heat to allow this without damaging the battery.

The Corps of Engineers are switching to Dakota batteries in the Arctic Circle that have this circuitry.

He does have an alternative. Instead of the Lion Energy or any lithium we have Oasis Firefly Carbon Foam AGM. Not at all like any other AGM with lots of similar performance properties of Battleborn. You can draw the down to 20% easily and without penalizing cyles. Can get 3000 cycles. No special battery management system. No danger in an accident of a lithium fire which could be spectacular. ( First responders get special training when appearing at an accident with lithium battery powered cars) the cost is just north of $500. 6 year warranty

I'm intrigued. Did you have to replace the factory installed converter/charger?
    Thanks.

Just to add another thought... Check out LifeBlue Lithium batts. ($748 delivered) They have built in BMS with bluetooth monitoring so if you are like me and don't want to deal with all the additional monitoring equipment you can monitor each battery individually with no additional equipment. Just installed mine!

You know with all my efforts to get a Lithium system put in to my new Rig.
I don't actually know what all this extra power (12v 200Ah) will do?
By that I mean I'm assuming all the lights, basic power that the Acid battery (not the AC) would work but does ANYTHING new get powered by this new battery that wasn't being done by the Acid Battery?
Will it power my television? Just wondering.......
