I hope I didn't start this 'diesel is better' thing here. Not everyone needs a diesel, including me. When Ford recovers and has chips in a year or 2, I will be looking at a gasser. Fortunately, my oldie but goodie still kicks butt, so I might mod it for more comfort this summer with power seat tracks.
Did the OPs questions ever get answered? Maybe the OP will chime in again...

Not to get too far off track, but I get 9.5 mpg towing my 31 MB. Don't go above 67 mph on the highway, and that is in MN and WI.

I have a 2019 36 gal fuel tank w/new fuel pump and heat shield for the 157" wb if anyone would like to replace their OEM tank. Simple to do, PM me.
Re feedback on the F350 crew shortbed 4x4 Lariat 7.3 Godzilla? Best truck I've ever had, totally love it. So does the wife, lol. 15-18 mpg hwy, 13-14 city, 10-11 towing the TT. The new 7.3 is awesome, torque from the bottom like diesel, fuel mileage like the 6.2. For $10k more you can get the 6.7 diesel with slightly better fuel mileage but why?nd Long bed get the 48 gal fuel tank, think ours is 34 gal. Has the Ultimate Trailer Camera pkg which integrates the trailer camera a[ real TPMS (not screw on sensors) into the factory cam/TPMS systems - available on the F250 also. That means no additional monitors or wires velcro'd to the dash! Pricey but IMO well worth it.Attachment 35595
