    Hydraulic slide out Question

First time with the Hydraulic slide out and was wondering if there is supposed to be a gap between the nuts and the plate for the slide bar see picture. As both slides are spaced exactly the same and surprised it would be done on purpose as the threaded part has to go through the bracket before the nuts make contact to pull in or out the slide. If it is supposed to be tight I would assume just tighten single nut and is there any torque requirements?

    Thanks

It is correct as is. As described by Lippert it helps the slide seat properly at each end. Mine is the same... no worries!

My Momentum was the same way. The LCI slide manual section that addresses adjustment specifies there should be a gap.

Thanks for the responses, what keeps the gap from increasing over time since only one side has a locking nut?

Both are types of locknuts. One is a nylon insert type locknut and the other side is a set of jam nuts.
