    On the Ford forum one of the members created a petition asking Transferflow to build a large gas tank for 2017 Ford 250/350 SB/LB.
    I signed it.

    2012 Toyota Tundra also has 26 gallon tank; it makes you plan your gas stops as range is a little over 200 miles. You need to stretch your legs when getting gas but sometimes it gets a little scary. They installed larger tanks on later models.

    If I have to carry extra fuel, I use one of these. Luckily I picked up 6 of them many years ago before they quit selling them in the US..

    It's not an issue of material compatibility or marketing. The tanks require EPA approval, and getting a bigger gas tank to work with the stock evap system is hard, and expanding that system a different level of problem. Diesel does not share the same problem, which is why it's easier to get them certified.
