HELP! Furrion Thermostat has no “Heat” function.
Camping for the first night in Arizona, up in the mountains. It’s in the low 30s when I woke up this morning the thermostat no longer displays the heat function. I have three small boys with me and we are freezing. Filled up both gas tanks before we left and the heat worked when I went to bed. I’ve searched through all The forms and can’t find a fix. Can anyone help?

Sometimes a reset is all that is really needed. Turn off the converter breaker or main breaker if you dont have a dedicated converter breaker. Also, use the battery disconnect switch to turn off 12v power. Thermostat should be "dead". Turn everything back on and see if the reset fixed it. If not, then more troubleshooting will be needed.

I tried to hard reset twice, both times the thermostat was completely power down. However when I power back on, still no heat function on the display. Oh my God is it cold.

Is it safe to go buy a portable heater and use inside the trailer?

If you're hitched to shore power, some sort of electric heater (15,000 watts) would do a pretty good job. This is one we've used successfully, a local Walmart or similar should have them. Be careful with gas or propane-fired heaters, they tend to consume all of the oxygen in your coach if not vented properly.

Thanks all for trying to help. I replaced both tanks with completely full tanks and the fireplace is still working, gas water heater working but no heat. Going to run up to Walmart and buy that heater.

Keep in mind though that by using that heater, your underbelly will not get any heat. It will however keep your kids warm until you figure out what's wrong with the furnace.
How's your battery level? Have you verified the 12v fuses? And a visual inspection inside and out of the furnace?
