    Countertop material

When we were cleaning the new to us 2150RB I discovered the bottom edge of the laminate in front of the sink is loose. A close look leads me to believe it was never bonded, there's no evidence of water damage or anything else including glue on the edge. Whatever the material is it's extremely thin, I mic'd it at 0.01", for comparison a common manilla folder is .01" and Wilsonart Laminate sheet commonly used on residential work surfaces is .048". I need to find out what it is to use the correct adhesive, anyone know?

Whatever it is be gentle with it.

One of the edges on my booth table is like that also. I'm still trying to decide on the correct adhesive to use on it.

You sure don't want to use the wrong stuff and melt it or something. I'll try calling GD and see what they say. Your 2021 should be under warranty for that.

I'm just surprised how thin it is, almost like adhesive shelf liner but stiffer.

Talked with GD customer service about this and was told any contact cement would be fine to fix it.
