Wine Rack in 268BH

Has anyone who does not drink wine removed that rack and utilized the space for something else. It's not much space. but every little bit helps.

We just picked up a 260rd and we feel the same way. Thought maybe roll up towels, water bottles. Not sure what to replace it with if we removed it.

We replaced the rack with a paper towel holder and now are thinking of even more usefullness like a shelf for bread or other food...

We don't drink wine and really don't appreciate having a dedicated space for this either. My wife found plastic cylinder containers to put in place of wine bottles. She fills them with oatmeal, pancake mix, etc.

I totally agree, we have a 2600rb it has a draw for wine bottles and a bottom draw has a water and food dish for dogs. We like wine and have two small dogs, however we removed the plastic trays for more storage space.

Removing an existing wine rack is a felony in most States that I'm aware of.... Shame on you!!! ;-)

What if it was modded to hold a box of wine? Would that be okay? lol

I replaced the rack with a simple shelf made of pine. Secured it at the top, microwave side and bottom, cabinet side. Stained it with Minwax Ebony. Close enough.
