    Good to hear you are on top of it....and I agree, no reason to cause a safety concern with wire that's too small for the load!

    I haven't measured the actual conductor size yet, but the wiring harness looks like it's probably 12 gauge. Considerably larger than the cute little leads going to the USB port itself. It's the same wiring driving the radio, which is spec'd at 10A. That's more than enough for any of the adapters I'll be using, even the CPAP only pulls 7 amps. Beyond that, I'll just have to assume that the fuse in the panel is sized correctly to protect the wiring.

    All joking aside, yes, it will be fused, as close to the originating point as I can get it.
