    Transcend 247BH Frame

I have ordered a 247BH. I am looking on line at weight distribution hithes and need to know the depth of the frame before ordering. Does anybody have that dimension, or could take a measurement for me? Thanks

I don't have a 247BH, but I have a 261BH, which is pretty similar. The tongue frame is 5 inches deep, 2 inches wide. My Equal-i-zer hitch fit perfectly fine. Some of the little single axle trailers use 2x4 tongue A-framing but I'd guess most mid-size trailers are 2x5, the bigger ones maybe 6 inches deep. The equal-i-zer can accomodate anything up to 6 inches with out-of-the-box hardware.

Thanks for your reply. The hitch I'm looking at said 3-6" so should be fine...can't wait!
