Smile Hello - Finally getting a GD

    Hello everyone,

Long time lurker but finally officially joined after deciding to get the Imagine 2600RB. This will be our 2nd TT and are coming from a 2015 Keystone Passport Elite 23RB. That trailer has been very good to us and I was a little bit hesitant to change as had zero problems in the last five years. But I wanted a walk on roof and also will actually like having a dedicated dinette. The larger holding tanks are also ideal as we do boondock at least once a year. We always filled up the grey tank even being very careful on usage. The huge bathroom will be such a nice change from the very tight bathroom of our previous trailer. Here’s to hoping the 2600RB will be as trouble free. Really good information on these forums. I feel like I already know this trailer pretty well.

Congratulations; the new RV should keep you busy for a bit but not necessarily out of trouble. How are you enjoying the 7.3?

We are liking it so far. We actually haven’t towed with it yet. We picked it up last Oct. and pretty much sitting in the garage. Traded a 2015 Nissan Titan which actually did a pretty good job towing the Passport. But we knew we were going to go a bit heavier. Found the truck that was perfect for us. Anxious to try it out. Should be towing sometime this week to trade in the Passport for the 2600RB. We went from 1656 lb payload with the Titan to 3268 with the F250. Shouldn’t have any weight issues with the 250.

Will be a nice marriage between the new tow vehicle and the new TT.

I’m sure we will. We also have the Centerline hitch and have the 600 to 800 pound spring bars. Do you think I need to upgrade the bars to the 800 to 1200 lbs?
