    Just Getting Started

I'm Mark and my wife is Jerri. We are brand new to the RV world and have lots to learn! We have just purchased an 2021 Imagine 2910BH. I hesitated in starting with such a long trailer, but we hope to make many road trips with some of our grandkids ranging in age from 14 to 3 months! We haven't even picked-up the RV yet, but will in a couple of days. One option the dealer is offering us is the exterior protection coating "First Place Finish". Does anyone have experience with this protectant coating? Would you recommend spending the $750? Thanks, Mark

    Congratulations on your 2910BH!

I’m not familiar with their protection coating but if it were me, I’d pass. There are good options for DIY. Take a look at this recent thread for some ideas:

Welcome! Recommend you pass on the First Place Finish not so special coating offer. New RVs are always a lot of fun! Enjoy!

Thanks Tigger1! Sorry I've not responded sooner. In addition to learning all I can about the new rig, I'm learning, slowly, how to use this forum. All replies I've received so far agree with you! Glad I asked!

Thanks J! In addition to trying to learn all I can about the new rig, I'm trying to learn how to use this forum. It's slow, but I'm getting better! So far, all my replies have said just as you did! Glad I asked and save some significant cash!
