    Delamination on side walls

I have posted that on the drivers side of my Reflection trailer that I am getting bubbles in it I have contacted Grand Design and my dealer Grand Design is saying that they will pay the dealership to sand out the bubbles and repainted the spots that are delaminating has any one had this done I am afraid that it is never going to match and that it is not going to fix the problem of the walls coming apart.

The "Tech Corner" section of the forum is for Grand Design RV to respond to owner's questions and concerns. Frankly, I'm a little surprised with the proposed resolution. In the past, I've seen GD replace walls that were delaminating as part of the three year structural warranty. GD Missy - Is this really an acceptable method of repair?

I wouldnt accept this as a resoultion. Ive always heard the only solution is to replace that section of wall. Delamination or incorrectly repaired delamination will significantly reduce resale or trade-in value.

Last year my dealer replaced my curb side slideout wall.
    It had delamination.
They also repaired a spot by the gooseneck. It looked good for awhile but didn't last.
Now the main wall has delamination and GD is going to replace the wall at the factory.
    Now the

    +1.
Prior to this, you should ask your dealer for the pre-authorization number. This is available as soon as the dealer enters a claim, if the dealer says there is no number, they are feeding you bs. If you give this number to GD, it makes it easier for them to look up the claim.

Really disappointed to hear you have delamination problems. Wonder what is causing it. Hopefully GD comes through for you.

    Good Morning,

We would need to see pictures of the bubbles to make an accurate call on the correct repair. Are they on both sides or just one? Are they all over the unit or just in one spot? Is it a small spot or the whole lenght & width of the unit?
