Any Recommendations for the Spokane, WA area

We'll be passing through the Spokane area on our way to Glacier National Park in mid to late August. Will be stopping for a few days to visit family... Any recommendations ?

If you can get a space, Riverside State Park! Close to town, in a gorge by the river where you can't see the city.
Lots of folks seem to like Blackwell island in Coeur d'Alene, under an hour away.

I've never stayed at any cause I live here, but I suggest you try to narrow the region. The further out of town you go the better your choices.

Silver wood theme park has a nice rv campground that we enjoyed in 2020. This year we plan on trying ravenwood rv resort next to silver wood theme park, In late august.These are about one hr away from Spokane (in Idaho)

Northern Quest Casino and RV park is very nice. 15 minutes to downtown Spokane. It is really new, with great paved widely spaced sites. Lots of food and entertainment options. We really like Deer Park RV Resort. It's about 35 miles from Spokane. Pool and spa, grille at the clubhouse, nice sites.

Glad to hear this. We just booked there for a few nights in August. It looked like a nice place on line and had some good reviews. I just can't get over the price of campgrounds around there tho!
