    Hello from Okla

Hi..I'll be part time in my 2022 Transcend during the next year. I'm wanting tips for skirting to help winterize the water pipes. I have electricity full time. Thank you for ideas.

    Hi Janet,

Welcome to the group and congrats on your new rig! Lots of great folks here and experience!

As far as the skirting, you can get some 1 inch insulation boards and wrap them in foil tape and wedge them in the gaps between the ground and the bottom of the rig. That’s my thoughts. I am mostly a fair weather kind of guy and we don’t really camp in cold, maybe a few nights in the 30’s if about it. I am sure others with more experience in cold weather will chime in.

    Again, congrats and welcome!

    Janet,
Hello and welcome to the group. We are also okies , just outside Oklahoma City. Unfortunately I can’t offer any advice on skirting but I’m sure there are enough smart people on here that you will get some advice.

Welcome Janet. We’re just outside Barnsdall, OK. We are fair weather campers. I looked at these https://ezsnapdirect.com/products/rv-skirting/ but decided against winter camping. Best of luck.
