From the Midwest, joining the 5er gang.....
Hello all. We recently bought a nice 2015 Solitude 320x (private sale) and are anxiously awaiting good weather to try this thing out. It seems to be in great shape with very little ware inside and out. Previous owner said the camper did not travel much except to local lake campground and a few times to other campgrounds with in the State, Iowa. It has the original ST235 80R16 LRE tires (Constancy) which are coming off before our first trip. The yellow tag calls for that tire size and that load range- E. GVWR is 15,000 lbs. I see most new production campers with the same GVWR are now equipped with LR G tires. However, the 320x factory equipped axils are 6k. If I'm thinking right, it would do me no good to move up to LRG tires if my axil rating will only allow 12k lbs. I am looking at the Goodyear Endurance LRE, 3420 lb.rated x 4 = 13680 lbs. Plus the fact that I don't know if my rims would be right for the G tires.
Looking foreword to any advice.

Welcome. I'd wait to change much until you can weigh the rig, including the pin weight (what is the truck carrying). G tires can need up to 110 psi so see what your rims are rated for. Rating should be on the rims.
