    Cooper 17.5in H-rated verdict

So what is the verdict on the Cooper 17.5in "H" rated tires they are now mounting on the Momentum's and Solitudes? Are they the "Work Series Regional Haul Trailer (RHT) tires?

According to GD's parts lookup site, they are LRH Cooper Roadmasters:

Well, we picked up our new Solitude from the dealer Tuesday and just finished the local state park shakedown. If it had been up to me, I would have been content with G rated on this particular Solitude..the lightest and shortest, but it was ordered with these by the dealer.

Having said that...they are one robust looking tire. Weighing in at 59 lbs per tire, load rated at 4805 lbs single axle, torqued to the wheel by the factory at 130 lbs then aired to 125 psi, it is a lot of tire. The tires are no longer the weak link on the trailer by a long shot. I had been using Sailun G rated tires rather than the overpriced Goodyear G rated series on my previous Heartland Bighorn...they were a G rated tires with almost H rated capacities. I had been very happy with Sailun, and since Sailun and Cooper have a joint venture trailer tire factory in Vietnam, I suspect that I'll be just as happy with these monsters.

Too much tire is never a bad thing.

As the others have said... It appears to be a very stout tire. I only have two outings on it so far.... BTW, They are REGROOVABLE!!!!
I never thought I'd see that on a towable RV tire.

My Goodyear's on our Landmark are regroove able.

Not sure what to make of the Coopers due to being made in China. Or as DECelt posted, Vietnam.

It's not so much where tires are made, but rather the specifications to which they are made. The Sailuns are manufactured in Asia and are excellent tires - used by many US trucking fleets.
