Ford Load and Capacity Guide by Vin Number

I don't know if this is new or not, but I just became aware of a Ford Motor Company site that will give you very detailed capacity and load information from a Vin Number. I've seen other sites like this, but the information is more general. I've entered three trucks that I am familiar with into this site and it provides the "yellow sticker" info exactly and also provides the GCWR which is sometime a little difficult to find. OMG! This is gold. I just checked and it’s perfectly accurate as far as truck configuration, payload etc goes. This is a keeper.

You can enter a vin for any Ford truck you may be interested in and get accurate Payload.

I'm not sure how far back in time the information goes. It may not cover a 2014 vehicle. All of the ones that I tried were 2018 and newer.

I wondered about that, so I used Jerry’s VIN as a test since I knew it worked for him.

I put multiple vin numbers in it for trucks I’ve owed or ordered.

It worked on:
2019 F350, 2020 F350, 2019 F150, 2021 F350

It DID NOT work on my previous 2017 F350 or my previous 2016 F150

So it may only work on recent years.

Try just entering the last 8 digits.

I’m using it on my iPad. Cut and paste the vin from my notes and it comes right up.
