New to the Grand Design Family
My wife, Carla and I recently purchased a 2021 Imagine 2500RL and we LOVE it! This is our first TT with a slide and WOW, what a difference the extra floor space makes! Only taken it out 3 times, but WOW!
We have been camping since 2004. We started out in a 1979 31' Avion LeGrande on a leased site in a campground. A year later, we dropped down to a 4' wide teardrop camper so we could travel light. We built our own teardrop campers, basically a full size or queen size bed on wheels! Being that I am a custom cabinet and furniture maker, I saw them a nothing more than a piece of furniture on wheels. Over time, the teardrop campers got a little bigger (we custom built each one from the frame up) and then we moved towards vintage Shasta campers or as we called them back then, "Standees". Our previous TT was a 2016 Starcraft Autumn Ridge 235 and we loved it, but our winter trip to Florida this year with our grandson and 3 dawgs proved that we needed more floor space. The Grand Design 2500RL gave us everything that we were looking for and fit our style of camping!
We camp mainly up and down the east coast, from as far north as Mystic Seaport Connecticut to as far south as Key West Florida. We try to go camping at least one weekend every month. Our 3 four-legged kids enjoy camping as well. They have been camping since they were babies!
Looking forward to possibly meeting up with some of you at a campground in the very near future!2004 Ford F150 Lariat 4x4 5.4L

Hi and welcome to the forum ! I remember how big of first TT felt with a single slide , we
had come out of an Aliner so it was huge to us. Went through that same huge feeling with the 303 too.
Enjoy the new trailer and welcome to the GD family. It is multiplying like rabbits !Marcy & Gary

Welcome to the group. The 2500RL is a real nice floor plan. Ya, slides make a big difference.
